The Grade 6s had PATs this morning, so we had to be super quiet.
We started our day with Organisation, and we get new classroom jobs. Then we worked on math. We had some questions from the text on subtracting decimal numbers that we needed to finish. If we were done we had a few activities to practice adding and subtracting decimals that we could do (a star colour by numbers sheet, an emojii colouring sheet, a puzzle and a decimal challenge). In Phys Ed we went outside and we learned how to pass and catch for Lacrosse. After Phys Ed we did French, we worked on the questions and activities for the article "l'interdiction des pailles en plastiques jetables". After lunch we read or did independent work. In Social Studies we worked with our articles about The Fur Trade and La Nouvelle France. With a partner we had to discuss what information from the text is just interesting to know, and what information tells us about something that had a big impact on the development of Canada. Reminder: The Garage Sale is this Friday.
