We started our day working on our personal narrative. We are either drafting, revising, or editing our narratives. We should be done drafting by the end of this week.
In Social Studies we finished up our passports or worked on our mindmaps. In Phys Ed we continued to play tennis (we have all been evaluated now). In Math we used our geo board apps to make specific shape with same sized sides, parallel or perpendicular lines. We had to name them and save them to the iPads. We ate outside again, and some students had Sphero Club (it was the last day). After lunch we had reading and independent work. We went outside for a break to refocus for the rest of the day (we got 16 minutes and 12 seconds). After reading we did Science. We started our unit on Wetlands (Les Écosystèmes Humides). We learned about 4 types of wetlands, and watched a video called "My Rubber Boots". After we watched the video we discussed why wetlands are important, and the need to protect them. Reminders: Tomorrow is Special Lunch. Our fieldtrip to Weaselhead is Monday, forms are due by the end of the week. Outdoor School forms due June 14.
