First we did English, we had our final three presentations and then we worked on drafting or revising our narratives. A reminder to those who have not finished planning, this should be finished tonight.
In Social Studies we worked on our mind maps, and a few people finished their stations. In Science we read a text to figure out the difference between the climat and weather (Climat doesn't change, and weather changes often). In music we continued to work on your rewrite of Titanium and we signed up for Music Share. This upcoming Music Share is for live performances only. In Phys. Ed M. Trevor did more evaluations. If we weren't being evaluated we made up our own tennis related game, or we practiced playing tennis with our peers. We had lunch outside! We had a presentation from Mme Harbinson (it was her last one). We did reading and unfinished work. After that we explored an iPad app called geoboard in math. We will be using it throughout our geometry unit. Today we had to create two different 4 sided shapes, create a 4 sided shape with only one pair of lines of the same length, and create a six sided figure with no sides of the same length. You can check out the web version of the app here https://apps.mathlearningcenter.org/geoboard/ Reminders: Weaselhead forms are due this week (the field trip is Monday June 3) Outdoor School Forms are due June 14th.
