We started the day with English. As part of our narrative writing unit, we brainstormed some ideas of key events from our past. We ranked these events from positive to negative on a scale of 1-10. This is to help us think of different events that we could maybe write about for our personal narrative.
In Phys Ed we played capture the flag. In Social Studies, we did our next station (to learn about past events in Canada's history). Mme Harbinson came in to our class and we talked about who we are as learners to prepare us for middle school. We talked about things like what subjects we like, if we prefer to work individually or in groups, how we like to get information (listening, reading, etc), how we like to communicate our understanding (orally, in writing, etc.) and if we prefer to type or write by hand. At lunch some students had coding club, there will be two more coding club meetings. After lunch we had Individual work/reading. In Math we worked on review questions for our evaluation. Afterwards we discussed that to give some people more time to prepare, we will have the evaluation next Tuesday, instead of tomorrow. Mme is going to give us some extra resources to study tomorrow. India presented her Figurative Language project (this project is due tomorrow, it should be shared with Mme in Google Drive).
