This morning we continued to learn about food chains and food webs. Each student was assigned the role of a wetland organism and they had to work together to make different food chains. We also reflected on what would happen to the ecosystem if individual organisms were removed.
In French we read a section of our book "Les Bas du Pensionnat" that explained a little bit about why residential schools were created and what the students did there. We also started to read Chapter 1 of the book. In English we continued to work on our personal narratives. We had reading and independent work. At the end of the day we did a measurement scavenger hunt outside with our grade 1 buddies. Reminders: Human Sexuality consent forms need to be returned by Monday. We will be starting next week. Outdoor School forms are due June 14. Please sign and return your child's fraction/decimal evaluation by Monday. If they have made corrections I will look over the evaluation again and update their mark as needed.
