We started the day working on our health poems. Once finished our rough copies we had the choice of starting our good copy on the library computers, or working on our Hatchet Scrapbook if we wanted some extra working time on that today. In Math Mme gave us a division problem to solve. We had to try to find easier division expressions that could help us solve the more difficult one. Check out how many we found! After we came up with lots of options we looked at which expressions we could use together to solve 256 ÷ 4. Students designated to FEO went on a tour of the school today.
Some highlights were: - we got cookies and juice boxes - we were put in groups for tour and spoke better french than tour guides (they said so themselves!) - saw some friends Students that are designated to Branton had Phys. Ed, where they played Hockey. In English students continued to work on their Hatchet Scrapbook assignments. It was Special Lunch today! After lunch we had Buddies! We helped them with some math. They were working on adding tens + ones, and we worked on multiplying tens by ones. After buddies we had Science. We tested our hypotheses from yesterday. Ask about what we observed when we did our experiment! (Our control lifesaver dissolved in 44 minutes and 52 seconds. Reminder: There is no school tomorrow Friday, March 1. Have a great weekend!
