We started off with 'Organisation' and 'Quoi de Neuf'. We talked about what we did on the weekend and got new billets.
In French we corrected the past tense verbs in our text about our Spring Break. We had music and we used the Ukulele, we listened to the music Friday song and we listened to some garage band presentations. In Science we started our new weather unit. We wrote down with our clock buddy parters what we already know about weather, what we would like to learn about weather, and at the end of our unit we will add what we have learned. After Science we did English and we learned about Alliterations. We read Fox in Socks, and then we got a list of alliterations from Mme to practice. Once we had looked over them we started to make our own alliterations. After lunch we were reading in French or we did independent work. After reading we did Math, First we did a number talk, Mme asked us which one doesn't belong out of 9,8 / 12,8 / 10, 85 and 18,7. Afterwards we learned and practiced how to compare decimals. We took a break in the middle of math to play four corners because we had been sitting for a while. We did Weebly. Reminders: Our Social Studies project is due Thursday. There is no school Friday April 19 or Monday April 22. Grade 4s are accepting donations for the Garage Sale. Students should be thinking about a song that has examples of at least three types of figurative language for our upcoming English project. This should be selected by Thursday. They have been asked to be mindful of the language and content of the song to ensure that it is appropriate for school.
